Crew Rails and Cargo Tracks for Cessna Caravan

The manufacturing leader of seat rails now has FAA-PMA approval on rails and tracks for 208 series aircraft!

  • FAA-PMA direct replacements
  • Improved thickness and stability
  • Fits all Cessna 208/208B aircraft
  • Anodized for superior wear and corrosion resistance
  • Precision fit

The primary source of failure for these tracks is corrosion. This is most likely due to moisture and de-icing compounds getting exposed to the surface of the aluminum and causing corrosion over time. McFarlane has improved the surface protection on our tracks and rails by anodizing per MIL-A-8625, Type II, providing a far superior wear and corrosion resistant surface. McFarlane rails and tracks are also primed per MIL PRF-23377 on the underside and top of the flanges of the extrusions. McFarlane will also top coat paint the primed area with a top coat polyurethane paint per MIL-PRF-85285 as recommended for corrosion protection in the Cessna 208 maintenance manual. The upper section of the extrusions are not painted or primed to prevent any interference issues with the seat clamps/lugs and cargo attachments interface with these edges.

With two versions available, drilled or undrilled, McFarlane seat rails will meet your needs.

McFarlane offers the Seat Rails with the rivet holes drilled in the bottom flange, and in an “S” suffix part number which has the rivet holes in the flange omitted. This undrilled version allows for easier installation in a replacement part situation as it allows the installer to match drill the original holes from the frame/aircraft to the seat rail.

To order undrilled rails, add an “S” suffix to the part number.
Example: P/N MC2601088-1 (drilled) and P/N MC2601088-1S (undrilled).
