McFarlane's lock rings are manufactured with 304 stainless steel - an improvement over the original rings that are made with mild carbon steel. This provides better corrosion resistance with the same strength.
Also available as part of the convenient Nose Strut Seal Kits which include the components required to service a Cessna nose strut.
